Dr. John Nosti, D.M.D., F.A.G.D* | ||
|
Dr. Nosti received his Doctorate of Dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He also completed a optional one-year postgraduate General Practice Residency program at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Nosti has since completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education courses in Cosmetic Dentistry, Occlusion, and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJ). As part of his exceptional education in cosmetics, Dr. Nosti has completed the "Advanced Aesthetic Program" with the "Hornbrook Group"- an advanced cosmetic dental program, and is also a graduate of the prestigous "Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study".
In July 2003, Dr. Nosti became one of the youngest dentists to be awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He holds a certificate of training in the Diagnosis and treatment of Orofacial Pain (TMJ) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and is one of the first general dentists in the United States to become certified in "INVISALIGN"- the invisible braces system.
In May 2003, Dr. Nosti was involved in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry’s National
Smile Hotline while attending the AACD annual meeting in Orlando. He is a frequent guest speaker on 1400 AM WOND Talk Radio program, and speaks to other health care providers regarding Cosmetic Dentistry and Temporomandibular Joint Disorders. Dr. Nosti practices all phases of dentistry with emphasis on Cosmetics, occlusion, and TMJ. |

Dr. Nosti grew up in Nutley, NJ and now resides in Ocean County. In his free time he enjoys weight lifting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family. In September 2001 he reached a personal goal by being featured in Muscle and Fitness Magazine for "Physiques in Healthcare". He is a NY GIANTS fan..and always appreciates a good sense of humor.
As an active member of the ADA/New Jersey Dental Association Dr. Nosti also serves on the Board of Trustees as Treasurer of the Monmouth/Ocean County Dental Society.

To be a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry a dentist must first be a member of the Academy of General Dentistry for a period of five consecutive years. They must earn 500 hours of continuing education, succesfully pass the Fellowship examination, which consists of over 10 topics in dentistry, and finally take part in the Fellowship Convocation ceremony. What is a Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry? A sustaining member is a member who is actively pursuing their Accredidation with AACD, has been part of at least two of the past four annual Scientific Sessions, and has pased the vigorous written examination process of the AACD. |
